BACKGROUND & STORY

Cinman Consulting was founded in 2012 with a mission to empower small businesses in navigating the complexities of contract development and process improvement.

With over two decades of experience in procurement, our founder recognized the significant disparities in contracting opportunities for minority-owned businesses. This insight drives our commitment to create a more equitable landscape where small businesses can thrive.

President

As a results-oriented procurement professional for 25 years, I have an exceptional track record in private and government sector organizations. I started my career at the Miller Brewing Company, Milwaukee, WI, managing multi-million-dollar distributors state-wide in their purchase and inventory management of Miller Brewing Company’s beers. 

This initial work in Milwaukee was instrumental when moving to the public sector securing leadership roles at Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) as the Inventory Supervisor (i.e., June 2005-May 2015) and Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) as the Contract Manager (i.e., May 2015-March 2019). I am a strategic thinker and tactical innovator with the proven ability to lead diverse groups in their problem-solving thought process.

A life-long learner possessing a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on customers’ needs, building trust and maintaining long-term relationships.

At Cinman Consulting, we believe in the power of education and collaboration. Cinman Consulting’s President possesses a Master of Business Administration degree, certifications in government procurement (Certified Professional Public Buyer-CPPB) and supply chain management (Certified Professional in Supply Management-CPSM). Cinman Consulting holds active local/national memberships with National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) (i.e., 2005-present) and the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) (i.e., 2010-present). In addition to procurement and business associations, Cinman Consulting obtained her Minority Women and Disadvantage Business certifications in 2020.

Rounding out her team, Cinman Consulting’s affiliations provide ongoing up-to-date training on the changing dynamics in business, guidance on the availability of vital resources and access to subject-matter experts bringing an array of disciplines. My diverse team can equip our clients with the necessary tools and knowledge to reduce risk, achieve sustainable growth and increase profitability. To win, a company must have great systems, processes/procedures, contingency plans, and competent people.
